WHEN INSPIRATION BLOOMS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD: Manon & Mia’s Senior Floral Photoshoot

One day while my husband and I were driving through a small town we visit often, we noticed the most beautiful display of flowers in front of a quiet home. I could not stop thinking about them. A week later, I drove back because I knew they would make the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot. When you are an artist and you see flowers that stunning, you feel inspired to create.

I stopped by and asked the homeowners if they would be open to a senior session in front of their home, featuring their flowers. They kindly replied “sure!”

After posting a model call, I ended up photographing not just one but two wonderful seniors. Manon, a foreign exchange student from France, has quickly become best friends with her host family’s daughter, Mia. From the moment she arrived in the US, the two girls became inseparable. They were the perfect fit for this session, and the flowers were the perfect setting for their sweet connection.
