VOICE OF MAASAI

Voice of Maasai (VOM) is a music and arts initiative built through long-term partnership, connecting Austin to Arusha through co-writes, collaborations, and original music that shares Maasai culture with a global audience.

I was brought on to design the founder and author’s memoir, Fair Street – My Road to Voice of Maasai. My process began with a proposed color palette and font choice to establish the overall visual direction. From there, I developed the cover, part and chapter openers, and interior layouts, creating a graphically cohesive reading experience throughout.

The design combines custom illustrations with adapted elements from Voice of Maasai’s existing album graphics and photography, seamlessly connecting the label’s visual identity to the memoir’s narrative.
